ABOUT LONGGONG PORT
About Longgong Port
Road–rail–water transport · A modern smart inland container port
Rooted in Jining and supported by rail and the Grand Canal, Longgong is building a modern integrated port and logistics node connecting regional industries with markets in China and beyond.
INLAND GATEWAY
PORT OVERVIEW
A modern inland
container port for the future
Longgong Port is located in Rencheng District, Jining. Supported by rail, the Grand Canal and other important transport corridors, Longgong provides the conditions for coordinated road, rail and water transport — an important node for Jining's multimodal logistics development.
Planned around advanced port-building concepts, the project continues to develop automated container operations, a multimodal transport system and port–industry integration.

LOCATION ADVANTAGE
A strategic location
for multimodal transport
Its position within established transport and logistics corridors gives Jining industries an important base for reaching East China, the Yangtze basin and coastal gateways.
Canal node
Located around the confluence of the Grand Canal and Longgong River, the port benefits from navigable waterway conditions.
Rail connection
The dedicated railway line enters the port area, creating a port-front, rail-behind transport pattern.
Multimodal coordination
This connected position provides a foundation for regional container multimodal transport.
DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
From project construction to a multimodal hub
Five milestones trace Longgong Port's path from construction to rail-connected multimodal operations.

Project construction begins
The Longgong Port project began construction in June 2021.

Berths 4–6 enter operation
By the end of July 2022, container berths 4–6 were built and operating.

First port phase goes into use
The first phase's 10 berths came into use in September 2023, establishing end-to-end automated container port capability inland.

10 berths completed
By the end of 2023, all 10 berths had been completed.

Dedicated railway line opens
A more complete road + rail + water multimodal transport pattern is established.
